At the Automotive Logistics International Conference 2026, Groupe CAT presented its vision for a more agile, connected and efficient automotive supply chain. 

The global automotive market is more complex than ever. Volatile demand, shifting supply chains, evolving OEM expectations and the transformation of transport modes are pushing the industry to become more agile while keeping operations secure. Against this backdrop, Groupe CAT took part in this Conference 2026, held in Shanghai from 15 to 17 April. 

The event gathered more than 700 delegates and over 300 companies to discuss the trends shaping the future of global automotive logistics, and offered Groupe CAT a platform to showcase its expertise, connect with industry leaders, and share its approach to smart logistics.

The Automotive Logistics International Conference is one of the sector’s key gatherings, bringing together vehicle manufacturers, equipment suppliers, logistics providers and transport specialists to explore new supply chain models and solutions for an increasingly international market. 

Groupe CAT was represented by Antoine Ritz (Chief Operating Officer), Edoardo Cumino (Commercial Director), and Chen Zheng (Corporate Account Manager)  underlining a clear conviction: smart logistics is now a decisive driver of competitiveness in the automotive industry.

Rail plays a particularly strategic role: the group operates a fleet of 2,100 wagons across a network of 81 weekly trains serving 7 major vehicle manufacturers. In 2025, Groupe CAT further expanded this capability by ordering 100 new flex TAL wagons.
